| Swain’s swim will stretch over
1,500 miles, and pass through some of the most storied and challenging pieces of
water on the eastern seaboard including, the Gulf of Maine, Massachusetts Bay, Boston
Harbor, Cape Cod, Nantucket Sound, Narragansett Bay, Long Island Sound,
New York Harbor, the Jersey Shore, Delaware Bay, and Chesapeake Bay, as well as many coastal rivers.
Swain will finish his swim by stroking up the Potomac River to Washington, DC.
